Passover is the time we spend with our family and friends, while indulging in many big meals. And no, this doesn’t mean you need to skip dessert! Because what’s a big meal without any dessert? I chose to share with you a small bite dessert that fits perfectly after a big meal, plus it's parve and also vegan, so it is a dessert that suits many diets!
Chocolate balls are a classic dessert everyone loves and knows. This version, however, is kosher for Passover and can help you pass this holiday while still eating delicious sweets.
As a bonus, your kids will love to help make these chocolate coconut balls because they are so easy to make. And let’s not forget, delicious too! I choose to roll them in coconut, if you aren’t a fan of coconut, you can also roll them in cocoa powder like chocolate truffles or matcha powder.
There is no sugar in this recipe, only silan (date syrup). Silan has a unique flavor that works great with chocolate in my opinion. If you want to use something else as a sweetener, you can use maple syrup or honey but keep in mind that honey is not vegan.
As I mentioned, this recipe is kosher for Passover. Other Passover recipes on my blog:
