Passover Chocolate Coconut Balls

Vegan chocolate balls for Passover. Delicious little bite size dessert to enjoy during the holiday.

  • 2 matzos
  • Handful of walnuts
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ cup coconut oil
  • 4 tablespoon silan (date syrup)
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder

For garnish:

  • 1 cup shredded coconut


  • In a bowl, break the 2 matzos and walnuts to small pieces.
  • In a small pan, bring the following to a boil: water, coconut oil, silan and cocoa powder.
  • Mix the cooked batter with the matzos and the walnuts
  • Cool the batter in the fridge for an hour
  • Create balls with your hands
  • Roll in shredded coconut and place in the fridge to set for half an hour.
  • Have a ball and happy Passover!
