Crispy Cheese Waffles made with only 2 ingredients, low carb and considered as keto bread.

  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (plus more for extra crispness if desired)
  • 1 tablespoon almond flour – optional for more firm waffles


  • Spray your waffle iron with cooking spray or brush with melted butter and preheat it by the manufactory’s directions.
  • In a mixing bowl beat the egg.
  • Add the grated cheese and mix well.
  • Add the almond flour if you add it to the dish and mix well.
  • If you are using the extra cheese for crispiness - add a bit to the hot waffle iron.
  • Ladle the batter to the waffle iron.
  • If you using the extra cheese add the rest now on top of the batter.
  • Cook by manufactory directions.
  • Serve and good morning!
