Passover Apple Crumble
Apple crumble that is built from a layer of soft apples with cinnamon and a layer of crispy crumbles on top. Delicious dish that is kosher for Passover and easy to whip up.

Servings 14 ramekin bowls
- 1 cup matzo meal
- 1 cup light brown (demerara) sugar divided in half (half is for the apple filling and half for the crumbles)
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 5 green apples cored, peeled and cubed.
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Juice of one lemon
Set the oven to 170°C/ 350°F with the fan.
In a bowl, mix the apples, lemon juice, cinnamon and half of the sugar.
Grease ramekins and fill each one with 2-3 tablespoons of the apple mixture.
In a bowl, mix the matzo meal, the other half of sugar and oil to a crumbly mixture.
Sprinkle on top of the apple layer.
Bake the cake for 30 minutes until the filling is bubbling.
