Vegan healthy and easy to whip up red lentil dip.
- 1 cup red lentil
- Water - just up to cover the lentils in a pot
- 2 tablespoon water (for later to thin the dip a bit)
- 4 tablespoon tahini
- Juice of half a lemon
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- Salt and pepper by your taste
In a pot, place the red lentil and cover with water.
Cook the lentils on high for 10 minutes until they start to soften.
Transfer the cooked lentils to a blender with the 2 tablespoons of water.
Add the rest of the ingredients to the blender and blend to a smooth paste.
Taste the dip and add more seasoning if needed.
Transfer to a bowl, garnish with herbs and serve with chips and drinks.
