Beer Bread

With only one bowl and a spoon, you can easily make this recipe and wow your family for dinner.

  • 4 cups (500 grams) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 500 ml (16 fl. Oz. / 1 pint) beer
  • ½ tablespoon salt
  • ¼ cup sesame seeds
  • ¼ cup flax seeds
  • ½ cup walnuts


  • Set the oven to 180°C / 350°F with the fan.
  • In a mixing bowl, mix all dry ingredients.
  • Add the beer and mix well to create a unified batter.
  • Grease a loaf pan.
  • Pour the batter to the pan.
  • Bake for 45 minutes.
  • Cool at room temperature.
  • Have a slice and enjoy!



*The beer that you use will affect the flavor of course so be sure to choose a beer that you actually like to drink.
*The recipe is basic and you can add any flavors that you like. I added walnuts, sesame seeds and flax seeds. Olives or other nuts can work great in this recipe too.
