How to cut a mango

Peel the mango using a peeler.
Stand the mango upright on your cutting board.
Using a sharp knife, make a vertical cut slightly off-center, avoiding the large pit in the center. This cut will determine the side of the mango where the pit lies.
Repeat the same cut on the opposite side of the pit, creating two large mango halves or as I like to call them cheeks.
Place one mango half flat-side down on the cutting board and slice it horizontally into thin slices.
Repeat with the other half.
Arrange the slices nicely on a plate and enjoy!
