It’s nosh time and I have the perfect dip for you to try. Edamame is very common as a nosh/snack with a drink AND it is healthy! So I decided to serve it a little different than just in pods and instead, made a dip out of it.
Edamame is another name for soybeans that are known to be rich in protein, fibers, vitamin K, and more. When you have a snack that is that healthy then it takes the guilt off of snacking!
This yummy dip is vegan and only requires 5 ingredients. To whip this edamame dip, you will need –frozen peeled edamame, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. For garnish, I added cilantro leaves, you can omit or garnish with whatever herb you have.
If you like spicy dips then you can add some chili flakes as well.
All you need to do is cook the edamame for a short time and then blend everything together - very simple!
This dip can be used as a spread on bread as well, or you can add flavor and texture to salads or Buddha bowls using it. I like to have it with potato chips.
Another dip recipe I shared last summer was lentil dip, if you are hosting guests and want to have few options then be sure to check it out.
