Sometimes you need a dessert for Shabbat and you don’t have much time to make it. Well, I have the perfect solution for you - these are the quickest and easiest cookies you will ever make! With only 3 ingredients, you can bake these yummy cookies that simply everyone will love.
The main ingredient in these simple cookies is lotus biscoff spread. Biscoff are small caramel cookies with a hint of cinnamon. Biscoff is a very known cookie brand in Europe and a few years ago, they started selling a spread made especially from the cookies. YUM. You can get a smooth spread and one that has crushed cookies in it. The spread is vegan therefore it has no dairy products in it. The cookies I made are dairy free and perfect for the weekend when you need a parve dessert.
The other 2 ingredients in this quick cookie recipe are flour and egg - that’s something everyone has it in their kitchen. I wanted to garnish the cookies too so it actually adds another ingredient. I added pecan nuts on top of each cookie. You can garnish with candies, other nuts, sprinkles or don’t garnish at all, it’s your call. The cookies are great without the garnish as well so don’t worry about that.
The recipe yields 12 cookies, if you need more cookies than you can double the ingredients.
